The Story

Our ornemanist craftsman builds ornaments in copper, zinc and lead, for roofs and outdoors. He could either create new original models, restaure or reproduce existing ones worn with age, for private individuals, architects, roofers or communities. An exceptional know-how in keeping with the noblest craftsmanship tradition.

The Details

  • Ornaments in copper, zinc and lead,
  • Bull's eyes,
  • Roof dormers,
  • Weathervanes and roof finials,
  • Copper gutters,
  • Fire pot with gadroons and flame,
  • Awnings,
  • Dome crown.

The Craftsmanship

The work of the ornamentalist craftsman is performed following four steps: After having drawn precisely the work to be realized, the mould dedicated to stamp the ornament is built. Then, the metal is shaped by drawing and narrowing. Finally, the metal is embossed using an embossing-lathe, before final assembly of the elements by welding.
