Privacy and protection of personal data

Through the Site, you may be asked to provide personal data to Human Heritage, particularly in the context of information request, request for quotations, subscribing to the newsletter or registering as a Member of the Human Heritage Circle.

Pursuant to the “Informatique et Libertés” Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 amended August 2004, this site has been declared to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés [French Commission of Information Technology and Freedoms].

Pursuant to the above-mentioned “Informatique et Libertés” Law, any person entering contact information or other personal information in the Site, has a right to access, rectify, delete information or data relating to him/her, and the opportunity to object to the processing of the said data, which you can exercise at any time :

  • By using the unsubscribe link in each Human Heritage newsletter ;

Collected personal data

Collection of certain personal information is required to provide you with Site services. Personal information collected by Human Heritage is used for the following purposes :

  • Subscribing to the newsletter ;
  • Registering as a member of The Circle ;
  • Contact request ;
  • Product or price information request ;
  • Register to submit your creations to the Human Heritage product selection as a craftsperson ;
  • Sharing a product sheet or curator sheet with a friend.

Regarding the sharing features of a product sheet or curator sheet with a friend, the information collected from the sender or the recipient is used only at the time processing your application and shall not be stored or recorded.

Personal data collected is retained for a period not exceeding 10 years, depending on the purpose for which it is collected.

 

Recipient of your personal data

Your personal data is collected and used for the sole purpose of responding as best possible to your application. We respect the absolute confidentiality of the data you provide to us. Therefore, we will only share strictly necessary data to a third party in the following cases :
